Fulham Gasworks
Party Wall and neighbourly advice for a mixed use development in the heart of Fulham which will see the regeneration of a redundant gasworks site into a high quality new urban quarter.
The redevelopment of this 16ha site will deliver 2,000 new homes in 15 new buildings ranging in height up to 37 storeys. As well as the historic gasholder, other Grade II-listed landmarks in the former gasworks will also be refurbished including the neo-classic styled Chief Engineer’s Office built in 1857 and the research lab designed by Sir Walter Tapper in 1927.
The masterplan sees the creation of a new square to enhance the setting of two Grade-II listed buildings and a listed war memorial. A new urban park will provide much need amenity space and a setting for the Grade-II* listed Gasholder No.2.
