Benjamin Street

We provided party wall and neighbourly advice for the redevelopment of this prominent site in Benjamin Street in Farringdon.

The site consisted of three individual buildings of different styles and character. They have now been replaced with a high quality, single building providing a six-storey mixed-use development with basement.

The scheme includes 7,000ft² high quality residential space on the fourth and fifth floors.

Services

We provided advice on all Party Wall and neighbourly matters for the Benjamin Street development.

The constrained nature of the scheme required party wall agreements with neighbours, detailing and logistics to work around a public right of way running through the centre of the site.

Phasing of works were required to relocate an existing substation and liaison with Network Rail and London Underground to meet their requirements for working within close proximity to busy train and tube lines.
